Dallas Fort Worth Costume Guild Mad Hatters Tea!

I was in Austin, TX for a work meeting, but I was able to get over to the Dallas/Fort Worth area so I could attend the Dallas/Ft Worth Costume Guild's Mad Hatter's tea (and meet some costume friends I knew from online) and visit with my friend Lesa.

We picked up jenthompson on the way to the tea, so we got lots of extra time to chat! It was soooo nice to finally meet her!

The tea was at an antique place, which was really fun:

Lesa wore a Doctor Who Fez and shirt and the whole thing worked very well with those of us in historical costumes because we had a bunch of different periods and it was like she'd picked us up in her TARDIS!

Here is the Doctor and I ready to go adventuring! ;-)

Delicious scones and little muffins and rolls. The pink strawberry cream cheese or butter or whatever it was, was so good!

We were so busy playing costume party games (naming different types of hats and identifying movie costume hats - I had the edge on that one!) that I didn't photograph the sandwiches! They were really good though!
