Vintage jewelry

Here are a few more things I got at one of the antique stores near my parents.  They have good prices there!

Vintage lorgnette:

I bought this for my 1840s dress - it looks pretty on it!

And a few more pins:

This is that modern 1928 jewelry, so it's modern, but I liked it - another lornette.

And a hat pin!

Miniature Portrait

I bought this at an antique store near my parent's new house.   I assume it's Civil War era? Anyway, I love the polka dot dress!

Vintage jewelry

I bought this Nouveau buckle for an Arwen costume, which I subsequently sold. I kept the buckle and I think it's so pretty. :-)

I got this buckle as part of a necklace on etsy - I took it apart (though I saved the necklace pieces) and used the buckle for an 18th century costume. I love it!

Vintage jewelry

My mom and I went to an antique store and we came away with some great stuff, which we got great prices on (30% off the tag)! The mourning jewelry is pretty - the rhinestone necklace is to wear with fancy 18th century (I know it's not period). The buckle is pretty but when I got it home, I realized it was fused so I'm not sure I can use it as a buckle. I really like the comb.

Glee Season 1 costume

We had a large group do Glee costumes for DragonCon 2010.  It was a lot of fun to throw this together.
