I just bought a new 18th century hat from April, one of the merchants who was at Fort Fred last year. I think it's really cute! I put it with my new outfit and it also matches the pin ball I bought from ColeV. So I have accessories now! :-)
Just a quick iphone pic. Excuse the iron in the background! :-)
Costumes, accessories, jewelry, and art, made and bought. But not for sale!

Pin ball
I just bought a pin ball on etsy! ColeV listed one and I jumped on it since I always wanted one. I think it's really pretty!

New 18th century petticoat with pleated trim!
I finished a petticoat and I'm really happy with it! I made it to go with my new 18th century jacket! It has box-pleated trim at the bottom. And my new Georgiana shoes from American Duchess go with it too!

Now I've got Sari fever!
I've been admiring the Sari regency gowns that some of my LJ friends have made, so I splurged on these:

American Duchess 18th century shoes
Here are my American Duchess shoes! I splurged and got two pair. I have a lot of pink and gold in my 18th century wardrobe, so that's what I went for. I used swatches from my gold sash and the pink from my KCI dress.
They are a little wide; as you know, the factory in China decided all Americans have wide feet. Fortunately, mine are a little on the wide side, so they fit pretty well. :-)
I also wanted to mention that there are lots of shoes available at American Duchess. You can pre-order silk ones in regular width, you an buy wide-width, and you can also now pre-order dyeable leather ones in regular width. She needs a hundred orders to do the leather ones, so if you're interested go, order!
