Time for another jewelry round-up

I scored two more Maggie Victorian name pins off ebay, coincidentally off the same seller:

I really like the first one - it's different than anything else I have. It's actually really small and pretty, and I was really pleased with it.  Pics are from the ebay auctions.

I got this paste silver heart a little while ago from one of my favorite sellers, Mary Fine. It's really pretty and I wear it a lot.

Details on the heart:
A silver heart is set with paste stones in red and clear colours made to look like rubies and diamonds. The original bale is present and is also set with a paste stone.

The design and craftsmanship dates this heart pendant to the Victorian period, circa 1900. The heart is 18mm by 17mm wide or 0.7 inches by 0.65 inches, not including the bale. Weight is 4.5g or 0.16oz.
It is marked, although this is not easy to read. It tests as silver.

I got this sweet little button hook and sewing awl a while ago on etsy:

  1. I love you Maggie pins. How nice to have a name that was common enough in the Victorian times that you can find still find these.

And the button hook handle is gorgeous!
